ABOUT THE POSITION OF FREELANCE WRITER:

1. All work is freelance, therefore; you will be self-employed.
2. When we e-mail you, we would like you to respond promptly to avoid us calling or waiting to find out if you accept the assignment. This is because we do not send an assignment to all suitably qualified writers at the same time. We will wait for your respond before it is offered to another writer. As we work to clients deadlines, we try to be as prompt as possible when finding a writer available to accept the assignment.
3. Plagiarism is one of the main issues. We stress that you must never plagiarise. We check each and every personal statement for plagiarism and if we find a writer has plagiarised, the contract will be terminated as of immediate effect and we do not pay for that assignment. This includes work you have previously written yourself. All assignments must be individual.
4. Quality is the main issue. You must always write to the best of your ability. Our aim is to provide the highest quality personal statements available on the Internet.
5. We retain the copyright for the works you produce for us therefore; you are not allowed to sell or distribute them to any other parties.

THE WORKING PROCESS:

There are a number of Customer Service team members – Zhanna, Karen, Rebecca, Kim, Sara and Niki. You can also speak to myself or my colleague Maria. One of us will e-mail you an assignment brief. We ask that you reply within 4 hours letting us know if you accept the work or not. If you do not accept, we ask you to state the reason(s). This enables us to note that we shouldn’t e-mail you similar assignments if it is a topic you do not wish to write on or, if it is because you feel you cannot meet the deadline, we can ask the client for an extension. However, if you accept an assignment, you should let us know but not start the work because we need to ask the client to make the payment. When payment has been received, we will let you know and then you can start writing. You may also ask for additional information prior to accepting or rejecting an assignment.

Once you start an assignment, you must complete it on time and in accordance with the assignment brief and our Compulsory Writing and Presentation Standards. (Which we will email to you upon succession of your telephone interview).

PAY:

The price will vary according to the deadline for the completed work. We pay up to £56 per personal statement and up to £59 for editing and critiquing.

Once you have e-mailed us a completed personal statement, we check it for quality and plagiarism and then e-mail it to the client.

If a client asks for amendments in line with their original request, amendments are free and should be completed as soon as possible to try and avoid any further delay for the client.

We pay twice a month, on the 1st and 16th. On those dates, we pay for the personal statements you have completed in the two week period.

In order to get paid, we ask that you send us 1 invoice and 1 statement of works. A statement of works is a document transferring the copyright to us. We have a bookkeeper who will provide the invoice and statement of works every time. You will need to read, sign them and send back to us.

Payment to you is made using online banking and will clear in your account in 3 working days.
